Derringers and North American Arms for SD

In certain situations I can see how these would come into play. The Bond Arms 357 Magnum 2 Round Derringer is such a fun fun to shoot. Recoil is nothing as I have tried it with 38 Special, 38 +P and 357 Magnum with 125gr and 158gr bullets, respectively.

I carry my North American Arms a lot, as a backup gun or for discrete carry alongside a Sig Sauer P365.

What are your thoughts or approach to these novelties?

I had one of our shooters make me a neck rig for these. They work great. He said once anybody saw them they bought them.

I've carried a couple of different 22lr and 22mag mini revolvers. Definitely better than the nothing that was often the alternative

Same here. I still have a 40 yr old NAA mini revolver in .22 mag for that very reason. With all those years gone by along with quite a bit of carry time a person would never look at it and even imagine it's over 40 yrs old.
