Dove hunt 24th

I am looking for a place to dove hunt Saturday morning for my first time and was just wondering where suggestions were to go. I live around the Greensboro area but willing to drive aways for a good recommendation. Anything would be helpful!

If you like public, the NC Wildlife game lands map has the ability to view dove fields maintained by the State. They show up in a neon color on the map.

Perkins Game Land has some larger fields and is not far off the other side of Winston. When I lived out that way, it was common to see folks setting up decoys right off the treeline. Uwharrie to the south of you may also have a few—never been, though.

If you’d like to shoot on private land and have not already obtained a farmer’s permission, you can look online for hunting preserves near you. You can typically get a peg on a dove field with a phone call.
