Durham Blues & Brews Festival
What started as a rockin’ good time has become a Durham tradition, filled with music, food, and outstanding craft beer! Our 4th annual festival had the biggest crowds yet.
A Unique Festival
This isn’t a Beer Fest with music, or a Blues Fest with beer. It’s a new type of event, designed to be a unique experience, by offering great Blues music and only North Carolina Craft Beers.
More Than Just A Taste
The Brewers will be on site to tell you about their Breweries and Beers while you sample from their selection. Not the “shots” you get at Beer Fests, but a full 12 oz. pour for you to enjoy while learning about their beers, and listening to great blues bands. This eliminates spending excessive time standing in lines and allows you time to enjoy the music, beer, and your friends. In 2018 we added a couple of wineries for more variety.
A Good Cause
Proceeds from the festival benefit local Durham charities and programs, including the Exchange Family Center, a Durham-based non-profit agency dedicated to preventing child abuse. Thanks to the support of our sponsors and ticket holders, in our first four years, we have raised over $120,000 to be donated to worthy Durham causes. Visit the local charities page for a list of the organizations we have supported.
