We just picked up a 9000iH for the house. It got a piece of tupperware broke in shipping.
Their CS has been great in gettin that taken care of.
That said, it's gonna take "a few months" to get the part in.
But no biggie. It's just cosmetic. Lookin forward to a test run here shortly..👍

I have that model, seems to be pretty solid. It will run my small house, including AC if I don’t go crazy with the loads. I configured it to also run on natural gas with a kit from US Carburetion, so I can use gasoline, propane or natgas. No need to chase fuel and schlep gas cans to and fro. I did have to replace the wheels with proper pneumatic tire wheels.

Thank you for this. I tend to research things to death before doing them on what I call "large money" purchases. I really need a generator (scratch that, I really need TWO generators!). Threads like this are very helpful. Thanks again.

I have a smaller version. it has saved me a few times over. It's very hard to get started with gas, but it will start up with propane pretty easy and then after a minute of warmup i cut it off, switch to gas, and start it back up.
I imagine i could adjust the spark plugs or carb or something... but that sounds like work that i have an easy way to get around...
