Elbow positioning for faster shooting.

I have a hybrid arm postion that I have been working on. Very close to his number 1.

I like number 3 by the looks of it

If you look at the video a few threads down about shooting double taps with Bob Vogel, you can see his technique is similar, elbows rolled in, shoulders not hunched but drawn up.

It's would really interesting to put a bunch of shooters with some kinesiology experts and see what they come up with.

As far as elbows go, I am very similar to position one with the exception that I torque my weak hand elbow inwards almost twice as hard as my strong hand. I have trouble with trigger manipulation if I torque too much with my right.

Closest to number 1. 2 and 3 are forcing my hands to separate. Maybe its just my lack of flexibility?

Red flags:

1) Mentioning 10,000 hours as though that number is magic. It's just become a buzzword, and anyone who uses it a) hasn't read Peak and b) just says stuff that sounds cool.
2) "Presenting options" and letting people decide. Tell us the tradeoffs of each. Tell us what works for you. Tell us that option X is good for Y but really isn't great for Z. Giving people options and telling them to decide for themselves is the "I'm a special snowflake" of the shooting world. Barring physical deficiency, one of the three is the best. Telling people to try them all will just result in them liking the one they are most comfortable with and sticking to it, but with the false "knowledge" that they "tried the alternatives and they didn't work."
