Well, I hit buy on my ebike. Settled on the Juiced Ripcurrent S. 1000W motor, 52volt, 19.2 Amp hour battery. Has hand throttle that's good for 20 mph, can do 28 mph with peddling assisted in off road mode. Has a built in rack standard.
My thoughts go toward having the ability to get around without a car.
@CZfool68 suggested they're only for the old and fat. I probably qualify at 50 and 50 pounds overweight, but my real concern is my legs don't have the strength they should due to my autoimmune problem. Having the luxury of pedal assistance and a throttle only means that I can get home if/when my legs give up. I can still get some exercise with the assistance features turned off, and the bike is 75 pounds so peddling with low/no assistance is still a good bit of work.
The UPGRADED RipCurrent S is one of the best fat tire e-bikes on the market. With our all-terrain tires and a 70+ mile range, this bike can tackle any landscape you throw at it.
