Dark5 and it's associated channels (Dark Docs etc). Interesting weird stuff and for once the narrator doesn't make my ears bleed.

Tasting History with Max Miller. Funny twink makes cool historical recipes with a little history lesson in the middle. Lots of Roman stuff especially. Even tells you how to find the odder ingredients or good substitutions for them.

I watch many of the same channels as most of you guys.

Lately we've been tuning in to Mike Rowe's new series, "Somebody's gotta do it".

Townsends.

Exploring 18th century food and lifestyles. Lots of Rev War stuff too.

I don't know how he first started appearing on my feed, but it sure is interesting to see some of the recipes they came up with. The latest head scratcher was the mushroom ketchup.

The History Guy History Deserves To Be Remembered - the history of all types from the slouch hat to the great blizzard of 1888

Mark Felton productions - mostly WW2 history, much very obscure and all very intersesting

Rex's Hanger - aircraft history, some very obscure aircraft history

One I find amusing is Grim Reapers. They use milsim games to model hypothetical matchups like 1 Arleigh Burke destroyer v the Japanese battle fleet off Samar in Leyte Gulf or an Aegis cruiser at Midway. Didn't say it was realistic, just entertaining.

Sam the Cooking Guy is a good one.

When I want to nap on the couch and want a little white noise in the background, I'll click on SB Mowing and put the volume on 1.

One recent gripe, though. I had been skipping ads when actually watching something, but one of the creators that I like to watch said that they make a bit more money if the ads are not skipped, so when watching his channel, I decided to let the ads run. Well, that is until they started putting freakin entire shows up as an ad.

Fifteen or 20sec ads are no big deal, but when did YouTube decide I might want to watch a 68 minute, yes minute, ad in the middle of a 18 minute video?

At least for me, they are beginning to run 10, 30, 45, and over 60 minute ads.

What's up with that?
