Fayetteville meetup?

Planning lunch this coming Friday the 12th at Southern Coals, 3319 C Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28313. I’ll get there around 11:30 to hold a table. This place gets busy QUICKLY, so come as early as you can.
 
Looks like I'll be Leland with the Bride. She has signed up for some kind of monthly wine club and the shipments show up the second Friday of each month. She gets two bottles from around the world but we end up walking out with a mixed case every time. And then she likes to go to Cape Fear Seafood for their fish tacos and then she finishes up at Harris Teeter for odd ball cheeses, meats, (Braunschweiger!) that she can't find in our local hick grocery stores. :D Kind of her day and that's about the only time she gets out of the house. But I usually eat good after it's all said and done.
 
At the coast chasing ducks and I finally got the 'rona to boot. No big deal but hate to pass it on.

Me and grandson filled our swan tags on Jan 16...beautiful day and getting our swans together, priceless...of course he was really excited when he saw his was bigger, lol

Well dang it, I found out this evening that grandson has a game tomorrow. I haven't been able to go to any of them yet, so the choice is clear.
 
Sorry that Amy and I missed it. They have some good dishes, some with a lot of vegetables which is quite different from your average mexican restaurant. I kind of self quarantined, not that I found it that debilitating. Just a fever for 48 hours and a mild cough. But hate to transmit something to someone that may have a compromised immune system, or has someone in their family with the same.

Still too far out to commit..but got it penciled in if I can get off post long enough.

Note my user handle is Long_Hunter with the underscore between words...the other "Long Hunter" is a new guy who hasn't been logged in since the day he joined last Sep. Couldn't figure out why I didn't get an alert when I was tagged, then rolled over the name and realized what was going on, lol...looking back its happened at least one other time as well.

We should just change your handle to "underscore"
 
Still at the coast doing some maintenance on the cottage. Plan on leaving Friday morning but doubtful I can make it to F.ville in time. Like I tell everyone, when you are retired you never get a day off! Always seem to retiring 24-7. :rolleyes:
