Any suggestions on thin fingerless shooting gloves? For whatever reason when I shoot a pistol over say 2-300 rds at the range the knuckle on my thumb gets rubbed raw. I'd prefer not to have to keep cleaning blood off my firearms. Only things I've found local so far are fleece fly fishing gloves at Cabela's.

I like thin nylon camo gloves. I cut off the fangertips I use for trad bows, using a hot knife so the edges won't fray. They are the lightest, thinnest glove you can find. If you need warmth, you can put another glove on top of them. I don' buy fangerless gloves, because I only want the left tips cut, with the thumb and pinky not cut.

I like these from Amazon. Touch screen capable is a good idea. I have to yank mine off to use the smart phone.

"fingerless shooting gloves" in Google gave me a lot of hits. However, most golf gloves will give you good gripping power and are relatively thin. I don't know how they would hold up after having the fingers cut off, unraveling and all.

Two fellas came to H2O a couple of years ago or so selling gloves with the index finger cut out. One of them was a school classmate of my brother, so I bought a pair - I'm also a bit of a sucker for entrepreneurs. They work just fine, but are about the same as a golf glove. I recall thinking "holy mackerel, Kingfish" when they told me the price, after I said I'd take two. I now can't seem to find them online except for an old Facebook account. They are called Proair Marksman gloves.

I have a set I got from a surplus dealer at Denton years ago that work great.

Don't known if it's enough coverage for your thumb, but framers gloves...
I've had tactical gloves before that had extra stitching on the fingers so you could cut the finger tips off and they wouldn't unravel.

Use some athletic tape. Wearing gloves while shooting a pistol will really mess up your shooting unless you've trained that way.
