First Friday lunch thread (Charlotte area): next one 5/3/24

Drove down to Rock Hill and got a tan one. 2 black and one tan left. Good deal. Impressive case for the money.

Anyone from up here going to the lunch? I need something delivered to @lowspeed. I was hoping to myself but not sure I’m going to be able to. Dimensions are around 42”x26”x7” and needs to be pretty secure.

I’m still going to try to make it but want a backup just in case
 
I'm out this week. Still getting over the stomach flu. Don't want to risk infecting any of you, or bringing that bug into Don's place.
 
I’m planning to limp in…probably late just because.

Worst case if you can get down here some other time and drop it off with me, and I’ll get it to him. I’m ~10 minutes from Concord Mills.

Ok. I had some plans change from Saturday to Friday. I am coming down to Charlotte but I’m helping someone move.

She just sent me the address and it’s in South Park, only 13 minutes away from his place. I’ll bring it with me and figure something out
 
If anyone coming has some scrap 308 brass I’m looking for some to make 45acp shot loads. If you want something for it shoot me a PM.
 
I'll be there Friday. Not sure if I want a burger, wings, or buffalo chicken sandwich, but I'm overdue for all three.

Gym if I am able to come I'll bring you some brass. How many you need?
 
Every intention of making it today but got stuck on a call for work. I got off at 11:15 and was moving towards the door to show up late and my son called and said he backed the trailer into a car in the parking lot of Chick-fil-A.

So I finally got around to plucking the foam on my Harbour Freight Apache case. Looks pretty great in my opinion. The K31 and M1 Carbine get to room together since it helps simply packing the SUV on match days.

I'll spray plasti-dip on this once it warms up. The foam is a little fragile.

I probably won’t be there tomorrow…unless I have a day like yesterday or today. I clocked in at 5:15a yesterday and back out at 9:33a. Only 4 jobs on my list.

Clocked in at 5:18a today and back out at 11a…busted hydraulic line. Had 15 jobs on my list and got 5 done.


Buuuuuuuuuuut…you might see my face on 3/1. 😎

Sorry, brain fart. I thought you were holding some ammo for me, turns out that’s carolinatlc who is not able to make it today. Now I’m excited to see what brass because I’ve clearly forgotten. At the rate I’m losing my memory it’ll soon be Christmas for me every day.
