haha Money I have saved for a pistol...well there it went.Son of a... I hate you and your formerly deep pockets! I'm hoping I can get a ride in one someday.
It's one of my favorites to. All these pictures were done on my Iphone6s. No editing was done. So I was impressed with that one haha.I LOVE that pic looking over the wing. That was an amazing experiance I bet!
I believe so.. it did crash twice in the mid 80's and early1990'sWow! That's incredible! All the signatures on the side of the plane, are those the people that did the restoration?
Little plastic here and there. Some hold Harley engines and I'll have a scale replica.Now you just need to 3D print yourself your very own B17.
I did push it. If something had happen I would of simply stated "no one told me NOT to touch it..." hahaThat is great Dustin! I would have hit the bomb release button over Chapel Hill.
I thought you had to be old enough to have a driver’s license to get in the machine gun bay?
Nice. Took the family out to tour Aluminum Overcast when it came to Hickory a few weeks back. Must have hit my head a dozen times crawling through that thing. Not a lot of space in there. That cat walk through the bomb bay is tiny too. Very cool to get to tour one though.
@Djstorm100
You'll appreciate this story now that you've experienced a flight in a B-17. My son texted this story to me last night. Absolutely astonishing story.

Does anyone know which B-17 crashed?
There aren't many left...
Prayers for crew & families.
What I find amazing is this scumbag lied about serving in Vietnam, and not only does he get elected, he serves on the Senate Committee on Armed Services.Dick weed Richard Blumenthal is within hours of crash calling for all of these historical flights to be grounded because of the tragedy.
