Realized my Tacoma back tire had a slow leak and really did not have time to take it to a shop and sit and wait; so I pulled the tire and dropped it off at a local shop while I worked and then picked it up on the way home. I have a 2 ton floor jack but that is not tall enough for the Tacoma TRD and after using the one that comes with the truck, I realized I need a real floor jack for the shop that is tall enough to life a typical 4x4 or SUV. I looked on Amazon and read the reviews; but I trust you guys more than those comments. I don't make my living working on vehicles but I do want something decent and safe for casual use, rotating tires, etc.
Thanks in advance!

I have this one from Harbor Freight, it does well on my '05 Yukon and '62 M38A1.

I have a similar one from harbor freight. 3t, low profile, long reach, quick pump. I believe I paid right around $200 on sale last year for it. No complaints.

I’ve got the same one. Worked great until I loaned it to a buddy who jacked up his truck on an incline. Warped the frame.

It still works but it won’t retract all the way now so I can only do my pickup. Won’t go low enough to get under a car.

I have an M38A1 also
Can’t remember year 50 something I think

I have 2 1/2 and 3 ton floor jack models
My 3 is heavy, got it for my F250 service truck b/c the 2 1/2 wouldn’t git-er-dun.

I have the Pittsburgh Pro version of this from a few years back. It’s been great for Tacoma’s, 4Runners, GX’s. Depending on how I’m jacking it up, sometimes I use a block of wood (6x6 or laminated plywood).

I also have the 3 ton low pro jack from Harbor Freight. No complaints here. I know quite a few people that use these, some much harder than others, never heard of any problems.

Harbor Freight has a 4x4 extra reach daytona that i bought. Its a 3ton jack and it does my 4x4 stuff with ease!

Just got through using a HF/Pittsburgh jack. Theyre good jacks.
And, yes, blocks of wood around the garage can come in handy

I've had this one for years, it hasn't failed.
Make sure you use good floor jacks (not Harbor Fright),
and do not get the smallest one's you can, my son got a small pair at WallyWorld, we were torquing down something while replacing cam seals and they collapsed dropping the car.

I've got a bottle jack. It's good for vehicles and still small enough for other uses.
