FN 509 Locked Up

Went to the range today and was shooting some reman ammo from Super Vel. I also had a Apex Threaded Barrell on it and had been shooting suppressed.
Probably not cleaning enough after suppressed. Brass doesnt look bad.. There is a ring around the brass just in front of the primer probably the extractor.
I did finally get it into battery and was able to fire the round. Soaked it in some rem oil and pressed the extractor enough to get it apart. I did not want to drive home with a live round out of battery.

Will take it back and run some new ammo with the stock barrel.

The Sig 229 ran about 100 of the same ammo without a flaw.

I’d Google the “plunk test” and test some more of those rounds in the apex 509 barrel.

I had a similar problem with my reloads that ran fine in a glock, but they failed in my CZ Shadow due to its tighter tolerances.

Will do I read somewhere about the after market barrels having tighter tolerances.

Quit a difference.
