Ford vs. Telsa drag race

My guess is the Tesla will be quicker off the line but will be passed halfway by the Mustang. Seeing as that seems to be the result of every EV vs ICE drag race I've seen.

I believe those are both electric.

Model s with ludicrous package is 0-60 2.4 seconds and 1/4 mile in 10.4 seconds.

we wonder if the G forces of acceleration
will be a factor in the final result.

Indycar had a cornering situation before.

that's what mustangs look like now?
it looks like somebody threw the wrong name tag on an electric focus.
Which is funny when you think about it, because the "focus" in rally racing was just the focus' name tag thrown on a custom car...
I tried, but i could not find any model or year of focus that had specs that even remotely matched the rally specs.

No, that's the "new" Ford Mach-E. Ford saddled it (see what I did there?) with the Mustang name because..... they wanted to make it a "part of the Mustang family". Here's an explanation from R&T.

Mustangs pretty much still look like Mustangs.

I don't even like mustangs and i'm not a car guy in general - but that just seems wrong

Is the E-Mustang RWD or AWD (or, heaven forbid, FRONT wheel drive)?
Tesla being AWD should have plenty of traction to beat most things off the line in a drag race without too much fuss.

If they do this race and video it, Im sure it'll be a long, drawn out video that I wont watch.
