Forestry mulched path

Thats awesome, I"ve been looking into it and can't really get anyone to get back to me.
What are you looking to have done? My sons friend does a bunch of clearing and ground work but mostly for concrete jobs. Super reliable and I’m happy to pass contact info over to see if he would work out. My son has worked with him a bunch and cleared several large lots out.

I'm on about 3.5 acres and just want to get a few areas cleared in between the big trees. So really just taking down some of the dense area. Would probably be a days work or less

If you're in the Charlotte or upstate SC area:

Here is some of Chris' work 3 years after...it used to be nothing but sweetgums, pines and generally trash. I have not planted anything...just bushhogged every couple of weeks

I didn't even noticed the deer until later. I haven't bush hogged the back part yet. I'll try to get more drone footage later.

I know a guy in Hyde co, not sure where you are in eastern NC. If you want his contact info, let me know.

If anybody knows somebody in Beaufort County NC (Bath/Belhaven area) that does residential tree cutting and smaller mulching jobs, and:

1. Will actually answer their phone or at least return a call if I leave a message, and;

2. Will actually show up, and;

3. Will do the job for less than an objectively and ridiculously unreasonable price.

Please let me know.

I need to get my guy back for a perimeter path.
He did about 1/3+ acre in front with a forestry mulcher last year for $1800.
Nothing bigger than about 7" diameter but way too many of those to get it done with a bush hog.

Hose that trail down with RM-43 couple times a year and you’ll never have to have it cut again.

About 38ish wooded acres. That’s a lot of path to spray! I plan on going in when it is cooler to cut stumps down. Until then I’ll bush hog around them.

The forestry muncher left stumps that high?
I could mow over what was left after mine was done with few exceptions. Mainly like a stump next to a low spot.

No but some of them are bigger than I want to hit with a bush hog. Going to get them a little lower to the ground as a precaution.

I'd likely hit a few with my bush hog, I abuse that thing with a low front setup that scarfs the dirt. I bush hog like I weed-eat. I ain't try'n to mow, I'm try'n to kill. :)

It’s not that many that I’ll have to cut. It’s more some big limbs and small trees that are laying on the path that I don’t want to hit. A grapple then a landscape rake would sure would come in handy. One day…one day.

Found a deal on a Phantom 3 Advanced a couple of days ago on Marketplace. Bought it from the second owner. The original owner wrote on it. Hope to get some more flying time in with my youngest son with this one and the Phantom 3 Pro I already have.

Rubbing alcohol and a mr clean magic eraser will likely take the marker off. I've used them in the past with success on plastic with "permanent" marker writing.
