Form approved but watermarked DRAFT

I got my PDF from ATF, and though it's signed off as approved, it's got a DRAFT watermark.

Is that normal these days (is there such a thing as normal with this process?)

It's a known issue that's been happening for years. You need to either use Ask The Experts to ask them to fix it or send an email to [email protected] with your info.

Got a robo email from ATF and it appears I have a new form with a different approver's signature on it.... the beat goes on!

At least this one didn't have DRAFT on it.

To wrap this up, I just downloaded an another PDF, approved by another examiner for the same item, but without the DRAFT watermark.

Strange way to do business, but hey, it's ATF. Apparently even though there's a known issue with generating PDF's , they don't have time to check to see if it generated correctly without the watermark, but there's time to do it over. No wonder the registry accuracy is so poor.

Alls well that ends well. Thanks for the heads up BW...I'll watch for that on the next two that should be coming in Feb.

It's a known issue with no known cause. They apparently click the approve button and move on, probably without seeing the actual PDF.

Your approcal date probably changed as well, to whatever the current date was when it was reprocessed.
