Fun Show Find

Picked up a 10/22 at the show. I think it is an 1159. No barrel band, 20 inch barrel, padded stock, Williams Fire Sights.
It did not have a 10 round mag but I got a BX-25 with it. It had a POS Center Point 4X32 scope but i took that off.

Going to shoot it today if the weather holds.

That's what I found when I did some searching, however, that one does not appear to have a padded buttstock.

There are others with no barrel band, like the Sporter. I like it, too!

I don't mind the pad, but no barrel band is a good feature. I have avoided purchasing a non-takedown 10/22, but an 1159 is appealing.

It appears they are unobtainium, just now.

That's my version of a router speed controller, it is a light dimmer. My router is one speed and I need to slow it down for milling aluminum

Funny, I just built a motor speed controller like that myself 2 weeks ago.

I built one for my router as well. Years ago when I was doing stained glass, I built one to control the heat on my soldering iron since it was not adjustable.

I got a youth model 10/22 years ago with no barrel band and about a 12" LOP I think. I don't think I've seen a wood stocked full size 10/22 without one (with a standard looking stock).
