First of all I would like to introduce myself, my name is Paul and I am with Fuquay Gun here in Fuquay Varina. Several of you on here know me, as I have been a member of this community since almost the beginning, as have others on my team. Because of that I am happy to announce that Fuquay Gun is now a forum sponsor.

From now on you will be hearing from me along with a compatriot of mine, who will introduce himself shortly , with potentially everything from sale events, special paid member only incentives as well as news and other informational write ups.

Iā€™ve been visiting yā€™all since you were in that very small shop by the train tracks. Probably 16+ years ago. Walked in to get skeet because Wally World was out, walked out with skeet, and a deal on a Sako, my sonā€™s 1st hunting rifle. We dealt with Clay, he gave my son a Harris bipod copy and a gun sock.
Since then Iā€™ve always pointed folks your way.
I also remember the OhBummer years when ARs were unobtanium. You sold whatever came in at the same price level. That brought yā€™all a lot of loyal customers. Quite the opposite of Cheaper than dirtā€™s lack of respect for their customers.

I finally got an excuse to go thru that way a little while back to pick up a shotgun from another member.
Left some cash at FG&G as well.
Very nice place and it'll be a regular stop when I goto the Triangle area. :cool:

Thank you all for the kind words. Like some of you I too have been shopping at Fuquay Gun ever since we had the discount tool bin, and it was a postage stamp sized location. We have come a long way but couldn't of done it without all the support you have given us over the years. It is appreciated more than you can know, it really is.

That a joke? That place closed a couple years ago.
 
Iā€™d always been curious about FG&G but itā€™s 2 hours from me. Eventually, a forum member had a gun I wanted to buy and we agreed to meet in the storeā€™s parking lot at 6pm. I arrived early so I could check out the store. By the time they closed at 6, Iā€™d bought two older Smith semis.

I went outside and did the deal with the forum member. When I explained what Iā€™d done on my first visit to the store, he said, ā€œWhy do you think I agreed to meet after they closed?ā€. šŸ˜‚
 
Iā€™m going there today on my lunch break in a minute to look at their AKā€™s.

I remember reading an interview Clay gave when he was about to or had recently opened the new location. He said he would be able to buy more which would get him better prices. He said because of that he would keep his prices down. From all my dealings there he has stayed true to his word.
 
Clay has a LOT of my money over the past 25-30 years. I've been a customer since the Wake Chapel "store". Clay, Missy, Tommy are good people.

I can't tell you how many times I was locked in the store after hours, after work.

It's about damn time you all are a sponsor of the forum. It should have happened a long time ago. Welcome aboard. Just giving you a hard time.

I'm glad to see a FG&G presence here. By far the best shop I have ever been a patron of.

Very nice. They will now get all or most of my gun spend. As pathetic as they may be in the big picture.
 
I bought one of my favorite guns from y'all, a few years ago. I got a great deal on a Springfield TRP Operator with 6"barrel in 10mm. The sales guy threw in a free box of 10mm ammo to make the deal even sweeter.
