Champion Power Equipment 200961... Amazon product ASIN B08L45W2V9link ?
No idea. There's not anything in the manual. Since it's an ICE as long as it runs the break in should be the same (IMO).Since I know very little about dual fuel generators, is there a benefit to break it in on propane vs gas, other than maybe cost?
Put oil in, plug in propane. Started right up.

All tests are done on propane.
ECO mode doesn't quite work to run the 12a small compressor. It stumbles.
But regular mode works fine.
Runs the larg'ish 8a shop vac and the 2.5a drill press just fine in ECO mode.
Runs the 14.5a log splitter fine either mode. Will need to test it when loaded.
The real test will be the 120v/20a welder. I fully expect to need to run gas to get the full 20a out of it. Hopefully low power welding will work with propane?
Good luck with the welder.
My portable gen is 3000W continuous and it really doesn't run a small 110V stick welder, doesn't die, just doesn't adjust to the load fast enough.
That's the same experience I had. I had to step to a 4500w to get the welder to work correctly
It's the way it the rpm ramp up. The 2500 wasn't fast enough to arc the wire nor the rod.Dang. Well if it won't run 20a then it's going back.
P=IE
P/E=I
2500/120= a conservative 20a
A stick welder might be different. I'm not good enough to know.
Just did a test with my cheapo Kutch wire. Had to slow the wire feed down but had good penetration on 3/8".

With propane the gen struggled a little but kept up with the voltage turned up all the way up. I'm sure gas would have been much better due to more BTUs.
Since I'm not a "pro welder" it will do what I need it to do.
