Let's hear some recommendations for a Glock 17 paddle and owb holster.

I bought a kydex paddle from a small time maker and it was meh. Looking for something with good fit that rides easy.

I have several @rantingredneck products that I go for more often than others I own.

In fact I trust my life with one on a daily basis.

if you don't need retention, black rhino holsters are pretty solid

I like my Red Hill tactical holsters, and that was before I was sponsored by them.
They mainly do competition oriented stuff but they have a couple IWB options too.
Well made, one million color options. Plenty of attachment options if you run lights, etc. Good stuff.
And now that I am sponsored I can offer a discount code lol. AD10 saves 10%.

Holy crap though. A one month wait time on holsters?

Yeah, unless you select a Ready to Ship option (Which are usually guns or colors that are out there).
They have so many guns they can make holsters for and some may color options they are basically all made to order. And they mean 30 days too, not "We tell you 30 just in case". lol
But this was the most used holster brand for USPSA Production and Carry Optics divisions at Nationals last year, and Top 3 for Limited and Single Stack. They are good stuff if you can stand to wait.

I have been really liking my TR Holster. It sits high and tight in, which I like, and has good coverage of the pistol. They also have black in stock for all the mainstream pistols. I think they do custom colors too but I went boring and haven't had a problem with it.

Edit: I misread your request. I thought you wanted paddle or other OWB. I can't vouch for their paddle version as I only have the belt loop one.

I use a Safariland GLS, too, for a retention holster. For some games like 3gun.
Have several different kydex.
Currently have a nice Rantingredneck one.

Edit: realized review of RHT a bit harsh. So, edited it below.
RHT: Never had a worse experience with a piece of gun gear. Will not purchase those products. Ever again. Just my opinion.

I tried 2 Red Hill Tactical. Honestly, I have never had a worse experience with any gun product. Never had somebody make a effed up product and then straight up lie and pull weird stuff like that douche did. He made me a competition holster where I could reach in with a finger/branch/object and activate the trigger.
this is a 1.5lb trigger with about 1/16” of travel.
Then tried to blame me because “someone has been jamming a gun” into it. A GUN HOLSTER.
Wouldn’t piss on him if he was on fire. And, they are simple square blocks of kydex, roughly finished and overpriced. Just my experience and opinion.

Are you @gunbelt offspring? I sense a familiar language pattern here. :D
