Glock 19X vs Glock 45

Pretty much equal except for the color. The G19X does come with night sights and 1 17 round and 2 19 round magazines, if that matters to you.
 
they are virtually the same gun, but you can't use all mags in the G19x because the floorplates hit. yes the nite-sites and color are nice but the g45 is more practical for me because of the mags.

Think it was only a small run of a new mag design for gen 5 that had a larger floor plate, and they stopped making them shortly after? Am I remembering that right?
 
Glock 19x….if they had a MOS version.

They’re coming out with a MOS 19X I’m pretty sure. It comes with the optic cut and a threaded barrel.

Out of the two, I kept the G45. The slide has been cut for an RMR by Race City Defense in Mooresville. I still haven't mounted a dot but it's there if I ever decide to add one. And the frame is BFG, my favorite Glock frame color.
 
I like the 19X, because I don’t care what folks think of the gun I carry. I just picked up a 19X one day at the gun store and it felt really good so it came home with me. I didn’t have to change out night sites or anything else. I like it. The 19x, old school 43, or a 365X are my go to guns. The 19X Coonceals much easier than I thought it would. I don’t see why the 45 would not as well.

19X comes factory with maritime spring cups as well, where as the 45 does not. Not that most folks care about that what so ever.
 
As already noted, the G19X cannot use gen 5 Glock mags. Well at least not if they have the gen 5 baseplate. If I owned a G19X I’d have the front magwell removed to accommodate gen 5 mags. The front strap extension on the 19X accomplishes absolutely nothing other than prohibiting mags from being compatibility. Otherwise the 19X is a great pistol. My G45 tracks incredibly fast although I prefer a G17/47 or G34 as I shoot irons and like the sight radius.
