Just picked up a in the factory box brand new Glock 25 yesterday. These are chambered in 380 ACP and are the same size and dimensions as a Glock 19 and Glock 44. The G25 is only about an ounce lighter than the G19 (unloaded). I read these have been around in the European market for quite a while but have just been recently available in the US. I work at a gun club/ range and have never physically seen one of these until a few weeks ago. They still don't appear on the Glock USA website, only the EU site as far as I can tell.
It is really fun to shoot, recoil is almost non-existant. I bought this because as part of my job I train new shooters quite often. This is going to fit well with that. I will start folks off with a few mags in the G44 (22lr), then the G25 (380 ACP), then finally the G19 (9mm). All these frames and mechanics are the exact same. IMO... it's a natural progression.

Did you buy it new? Looks like a gen 3 frame... interesting.

Edit-i saw you said brand new. I guess I was wondering if it's new old stock or they are all using the finger groove frames from gen 3.

We're they imported to the states? Ive never seen one in person.
No, they didn't meet the import guidelines because of the caliber. They only recently tooled up to make them in the US.

Very popular in other countries where military calibers are banned though.

Is it picky with ammo?
I just picked it up last night. I work at a gun club/ range and grabbed a few various rounds out of our "Fun Drawer"... various ammo left behind when folks don't shoot a box they buy. Ran great. Today I ordered a case of 95gr from PSA AAC.
I had a few coworkers shoot it and they all loved it. It will be getting new sites and a Timney Alpha trigger soon. I have these on all my Glocks.
