I have carried a Glock 43 for the better part of 4 years now but recently traded a second 43 I had gotten in trade for a P365. I admit I really like the 365. The capacity of the 365 is what I really liked over the 43 intially. That being said it has grown on me alot more than I ever thought possible. Anyone gone to a 365 over a 43 or has anyone gone from a 365 to a 43? What caused you to switch

I too did the same a couple years ago, sold 2 43's and purchased 2 365's. Still carry the 365 daily. I really like thr 365's even though I still have a couple G26 I just can't part with.

I’d eventually like to go to a 365. Magazine capacity is my biggest deciding factor.

Same as above, sold my 43 for a 365 and haven’t looked back. Like the extra capacity and actually shoot the 365 better than I did the 43. May just be the setup I was running but the 365 carries more comfortably for me too.

I am not parting ways with any of my Glocks for sure but that 365 is really impressing me.

I agree. I have a flat trigger on my 365 and it is really nice. I shoot the 365 more accurately then my 43, which I never thought was possible.

That was my deciding factor too as I carry if With a 12 rounder in it and now I picked up a 15 and 17 round spare for the gun. While they may look stupid hanging out of it, the capacity is awesome. It’s something I could not accomplish in my 43.

I did install flat triggers in both my 365's, I liked the feel much better.

I’ve carried a G43 since they came out. I also owned a P365 briefly when they came out. As much as I appreciate the added mag capacity of the 365, the grips just feel too small for my XL sized hands.

Biggest advantage of the 365 is definitely the modularity.

Once you get the 43, you’re stuck with that frame for the most part. But if you get a 365 you can easily get a bigger frame/ mags, swap the slide to an optics ready one, stipple it etc

Swap the frame to the p365xl frame or even the x macro frame, and it’s definitely a game changer

Used to carry a 43, then the 43X when that came out. Now I switched over to a P365X and I like it much better.

That was my fear to begin with too. The 12 round “x” configuration cured it thou

I think this is what led me to try it. The modularity and ability to “play” with configurations for relatively cheap prices was a plus. The capacity was what got me interested for sure initially but having OEM options in really cool to me.

I love Glocks and will keep my 43 no doubt but short of shield Arms mags or buying a 43X I couldn’t get that capacity, and if I could it was via a shield arms aftermarket mags and added cost.

I'm a fan of the 365's flat trigger and modularity/flexibility. The same FCU takes you from a pocket gun all the way to an X-Macro. If desired, a manual safety is available on the 365 and is field-installable if you change your mind later. Caliber swap to .380 is also an option on the 365.

The slimline Glocks are a scaled down version of the same gun they've been making for decades, with all the compromises that entails while also lacking parts compatibility with the double-stacks. The 365 is a clean sheet design, and Sig has been continually building up the ecosystem (so far). Although someone heavily invested in Glock might prefer more familiar controls.

If the 365 is too small for you, there are mag floorplates with a lip to extend the grip a bit (albeit with no additional capacity). It adds just enough for me to get an entire hand around the grip. And there's the option of an XL grip or longer mags with a gap filler floorplate.

Or you can buy different grip modules for 60 bucks or so.

I frankly hate the flat P365 trigger because it's more like an angled trigger. It's weird geometry along with the small dimensions of the P365 doesn't work for me.

I like the p365 better, I like the sights better and capacity also

I went in to a shop a few weeks back comparing G43s to p365s. I generally hate small pistols but I really really wanted a pocket pistol. I was actually pretty surprised by how much thicker the 365 still was vs the 43. After a good deal of deliberation and a lot of pocketing in the store I left with a G42 🤣. I was particularly surprised at how much slimmer it was than the 43 even. Made a huge difference in the pocket, for me.

Definitely not something I'd carry in the waistband, but for the occasional one-off where I can't carry aiwb, I'm really digging this thing.

The 365 is doable in the pocket, as is the 43. That being said if I was getting it just for pocket carry, the 42 is indeed a great choice. That being said, I would not hesitate to carry it IWB either as it is reliable but it would not be my first choice for that.

I felt the same. Then I moved to western NC. Now I’m back to a 19 with a full sized spare and preferably a slung rifle. 😂

I've always carried the G43X (I vote for it over the 43) with the shield arms mags.
For some reason I just cannot shoot the P365 well, but can run the 43X as good as anything besides the 1911/P220 platforms. I love the P365 and especially how modular it is, if I could shoot it well I'd have one. I'm not sure I'd carry it over the 43X though.

have both and carry the P365 exclusively, but the 365 trigger is dog shit. It feels like a nerf gun lol.
It's a good gun and I can shoot well with it, but to make a factory glock trigger look good is an accomplishment.

I liked my G43 but found it too small for my hands. It carries nice but can be tough to manipulate. I guess with practice it would have been great but I moved on to the 365 and it just does me better.
