Glock Malfunction

I for one have never owned a glock. I plan on getting a 19 to play around with some day, but for some reason I just don't like them...yet. I've always shot 1911's, sigs, cz, and springfields better. I think it's the more extreme grip angle, for me it does not point natural like every other gun I have held. Maybe with more practice with a glock it will become natural, but for those of you with experience with glocks, is it hard to switch back to different grip angles after being used to glocks?

IMO, it isn't a problem. Like you, I never cared for Glocks. I prefer CZ's for fun shooting. But I got a Glock 42 for carry, because it totally out performed every other .380 I had shot.

Now I have 3! A 42, 43, and 19. Gives me nice options for carry. The 19 is just an amazing gun. Does so many things well. Somewhere along the line I started loving/respecting it. Still don't shoot it much, but when I need a gun for anything other than competition/range, it is what I grab. A lot of firepower in a small package. Throw it in a man purse and go. Nice to have in addition to my carry gun.

When I do range days I try to run some rounds through the glocks at the end of a session. I think it is all about how you pick up the front site when you present the gun. If your eyes are going to the sights, they line themselves up and grip angle is not an issue. Now, I think my brain knows that I have a glock in my hands and I can even shoot with a target focus, too. So I think you can work with it a bit and come to be able to easily shoot them well. Just some dryfire and occasional shooting and you'll be fine.

Have seen a lot of people go the other way, too. Glock shooters that have shot Glocks a ton, but easily switching to other guns.
