Looks like Grand Power is selling updated Stribog mags. I'm gonna wait to see what the FB/Reddit crowd say before I commit. There's a guy on reddit that thinks the follower is the same and thus these new mags will have the same issues.

The follower on the Scorpion mag is straight and runs well through the curved scorpion mag. I think, based on my initial review of the Stribog mags when I had them, they needed a larger sleeve/sidewalls to slide through the mag body.

Either way, hopefully this is progress. But it really doesn't matter, as the Lingle/A3 Scorpion conversions are the way to go.

Haven't experienced any issues with mine but I've only put 200 rounds through it. If these are truly a fix to the issues I hear others are having it would be nice if they'd offer an exchange program. I'm sure it won't happen but it would be nice.

Ok, so I started the Stribog Owners FB group. I got screenshots from one of my imprisoned admins betwern him and Samuel Beatty from Global Ordnance. Samuel has been testing these new mags for close to 2 months to include a 200' drop test on concrete and leaving it in a car in the hot Florida sun. Functionally, the reviews are still out but I expect to see them being posted throughout the weekend as some guys have already received theirs. One guy posted a picture comparing the bullet location when feeding, and these new mags center the top round a lot better than the stick mags. Another guy claims to have hand-cycled a couple mags' worth of 158gr flat nose ammo without an issue and plans to do live fire this weekend. I'm skeptical, as are most, but I'm also willing to give them a chance.

I’m hoping to eventually get one of the aluminum lowers that take Scorpion mags but they are always out of stock. I don’t really want to spend more money on Stribog mags that may or may not correct the problem when I have a pile of Scorpion mags already.

That said, Uzi mags are straight and are extremely reliable. I’d also be happy with a lower that uses Uzi/Uzi PRO mags. I’m thinking the problem is poor production quality, not the shape of the magazine.
