Great '24 Suppressor Shortage?

I'd like to get in on the current short wait times and have an opportunity to afford somethin nice. But it's lookin like the mfg's are still catchin' up.
Am I just lookin in the wrong places? Anybody know where there may be a stash of short/light 5.56 cans?

Alternatively, am I limiting myself with the 5.56 can instead of just using a 30? Handled a Scythe one time and thought it was very nice.
The old Omega 30 I have works fine on the 5.56's but it's a huge, heavy can that works well on anything that'll fit thru the hole.

I'm having an 8.6 Blackout built and needed a suppressor. I researched the matter and decided on a Diligent Defense 8.6 specific suppressor. I got my LGS to order it and they were told 8 weeks before it would be built. I checked their website two weeks later and it was 15 weeks. Last week it was up to 25 weeks. All about demand. Its a great time to be in the suppressor business.
