Hello all. This is my first post since joining and I am looking forward to your input on this. Am thinking of getting a Olight baldr mini light/laser combo for my HD gun. It has a green laser (no red option) and I am concerned in a "heat of the moment" situation it may be an issue getting the laser confused with my tritium night sight. I have heard and read the pros and cons of having a laser on a HD gun (a whole nother topic I know) but feel it may be an added benefit in the circumstance you can't get a good sight line behind the weapon. In the instance where you are behind the sights with the laser on do you see this being an issue or will the laser be so much brighter it won't be an issue?

the purpose of the laser is to maintain focus on the threat. When using the laser, your iron sights should not be in focus at all.

Thanks for your feedback sir. Kinda figured I would get a response along those lines. Just wanted to avoid any buyers remorse if I went with green laser. Guess I was overthinking things and just need to get it and train with it some to get the feel of it.

I just had a Baldr Mini delivered a few minutes ago. I'm evaluating replacing the PLValkyrie Pro on my new to me G19x with it. Smaller footprint, laser capability which I may or may not use. Time will tell. As Tim said if you're using the laser you won't see the sights and to an extent vise versa. It's a tool. Either way you gotta train with it.
