Anyone tried PSA Grendel upper? A friend is interested in getting a Grendel for hog hunting and don't want to break the bank.
 
A buddy of mine has one. Couldn’t get it to fire more than two rounds before it would malfunction. I think he got tired of messing with it and gave up.
 
I got one of the Bear Creek uppers to make up on the cheap. Operates well groups are about an inch 100 yards with me. Seems to tighten up a bit after about 100 rounds. First time taking it out groups were about 2" - 3" Stainless barrel.

I built a 6.5 upper; BA barrel, MI handguard, radian charging handle and a bunch of other quality parts that I cant remember. It functions as 100% so far. Now finding ammo for it is another story……

I’ve got a PSA 6.5 Grendel. No issues at all. Reliable and groups at or near 1 MOA depending on ammo.
