It all comes down to marketability (regardless of topic). Take AOC for example... she has her admirers for sure but because she doesn't have a brain the majority of serious democrats see her as a liability (see Pelosi). Same goes for Greta; she has plenty of fans but if you want people to take climate change seriously your spokesperson probably shouldn't be the kid from "The Omen."

OK, she's the one that sailed on the yacht to the meeting in NY. She claimed it was a "zero emissions" trip to prove how committed to the cause she is. She and her crew will be flying back. And it sounds like a couple of her crew have to make multiple trips to bring the boat back to Europe. So her little climate stunt has a larger carbon footprint than if she had just flown over and back herself. Doh! Then again, the rules never apply to the crusaders. They just want to force that lifestyle on us while they get to do what they want.
