tl;dw: thread adapter to a common interrupted thread (CAM-LOK) to share a single booster with multiple hosts. Interrupted thread allows for quick detach. I'm kind of surprised this wasn't a thing already considering interrupted threads have been around since 1845. This seems like a potential game changer.
- 17-4 ss, nitrided
- Adapter uses 3/4" socket flats for torque wrench application
- taper lock in front of interrupted threads
- booster/housing has options for all griffin models, sico/rugged/dead air(odessa), cgs, AAC Tirant, DA ghost/wolfman
- $79 – pistons $59 - adapters
- Thread pitches supported:
- 1/2x28
- 1/2x28 special (compact 9mm handguns, ex: G43 , Sig P365, etc. )
- 13.5x1 LH metric
- .578x28
- 16x1 LH
- 16x1 RH
- 9/16x24
- there's a disclaimer on the product page. I'm not sure of the reasoning yet:
Use of the CAM-LOK™ system with a fixed spacer on a fixed barrel firearm will cause damage to the suppressor. This is for use on handguns with title barrel pistols only such as Glock, HK, SIG, 1911, S&W M&P....etc. A fixed firearm would be a 9mm carbine (PCC), a bolt action, etc.
