I’m working through pulling a small pile of 9mm blue bullets and the old hammer just wasn’t doing it for me. After a quick search for simple, low cost alternatives, I found the Grip ‘n Pull. Reviews are awesome and it’s supposed to be a lot faster and cleaner than the hammers. I’ll add a picture of what I received and will share my thoughts on it later once I get the chance to use it.

Nope... the crimp is too aggressive to pull out without damaging the powder coating. It’s a good concept that may work for some bullets, but not these.

I’ll be asking for a return on Monday and return to using the hammer until it breaks then buy another hammer when needed.

I use the Hornady puller and like it a lot. Similar to the RCBS. The hammer puller gets old quickly if you have more than a couple dozen to pull.

I have a few thousand to pull... no kidding...

Just ordered a collet and puller. Thanks for the recommendation!

Let me know how you like it when you get it. I need to get a puller, and was looking at the Grip-N-Pull or a collet puller.
I like the concept of the Grip-N-Pull, though. Shame it marked the bullets.

@DangerRuss is going to take the Grip and Pull off my hands to use on some lead and copper bullets. I’m sure he’ll let us know how it works once he has a chance to mess around with it.

This is what the Grip and Pull did to powder coated bullets.

My "Grip n Pull" has been hanging on a peg board gathering dust for a couple years.

I have used mine successfully to pull coated 9mm. not blue bullet brand pills but very similar.

Ooh, I have one of those! :D I love the idea, but I admit I haven't used it yet. Haven't had a need to, but it's present as an option. Yeah. I probably would only use it for something that had a proper copper jacket, so as not to deform the bullet when using the G&P to extract the pill.

Well... I ordered a collet puller. I’ll find out for myself soon enough! Hope this works...
