I'll be flying for the first time with my guns in May. I have an old Plano case that will fit the luggage size requirements for my airine, but when I got the case, the foam was beat up. Somone had picked most of the foam, to where it's not usable. Any ideas on where I can pick up some cheap foam? Honestly, I'll probably have my guns in cases, because I'll need them for compitition anyway. Just looking for some egg crate foam or similar to squeeze some stuff in there tighter.
 
I was googling around one day and found a company here in NC that offers that foam. I'll see whether I can find it again.
 
Well, if I had just trashed the box my upper came in, it had plenty of that foam in it. @Jeppo posted a nice link. I've never ordered from them, but I have talked to him and he's a nice guy that I wouldn't hesitate to deal with.
 
I've got a bit of egg crate shaped flexible acoustical foam but I'm not very close to you.
 
I don't know how specific your foam requirements are, but look locally. There's a place in Asheville called "Foam and Fabric;" might be something similar within driving distance for you.

An upholstery shop might have some in stock or some remnants on hand, too.
 
any places for replacement pick and pluck?
