I'm here for some (lame, no snow) snowboarding in SLC this weekend.

Any particular gun shops are worth a peek? "Davidson Defense" is about 45 minutes away in Orem. I think there are plenty of wholesalers and manufacturers in the area that I'd like to check out.

I wanted to hit it today, but it's not open early in the week. Thanks though- looks great.

There's a NSA facility near Camp Williams. If you go knock on the door, they'll show you theirs

Hope the boarding gets better.
As an aside, SLC has one of the largest, if not the largest, genealogy libraries in the country. Check it out too if the weather doesnt cooperate.

Timing was just wrong. Day I'm leaving they had enough snow to put restrictions on the canyons.
Gallensons. Danger - you WILL spend money
Made it there. Very cool old school store, boxes everywhere. No lack of ammo and prices weren't bad. They also had primers on the shelf, cci for $90/k. Somehow I managed to get out without buying anything, but that was due to getting on. an airplane soon after. A lot of reviews complained about the service but I found the opposite- plenty of staff and not pushy, but responsive. Thanks for the suggestion
