Gun store visit today

Dropped by mackeys ferry gun store today.
Not one can of smokeless powder in the 60’ powder rack!
No used guns that weren’t way over priced!
And Unless I missed it, only one 30-30 in store!
No older 38 spc revolvers (which I was looking)
Levers were almost solely represented by Henry🙁
Didn’t even bother ask about primers

But Good selection of 28 ga shotshells - 🤔
Just Lots of plastic pistols and empty gun cases!☹️

I haven’t been there in 5 years or so. I hate to hear they are in such bad shape. I always enjoyed stopping in when I was in that part of the state. Sadly, me being down that way doesn’t happen often enough.

There should be plenty of .30-30 rifles … since you can hardly find ammo outside of the scalpers at gun shows or get lucky on catching the truck at a big box (which the scalpers at the gun shows seem to beat you to because they know or have insiders). For what use to be the go to deer gun in the SE US ammo manufacturers sure have been stingy on production runs.
