Looking for recommendations for storage ideas for handguns inside the safe. Items you like and those to stay away from as well. Ways to maximize room while still allowing access. Thanks.
Hi, this foam is used for packaging computers and other electronics, I get it at work before it goes to the trashbin,I have always worried about moisture in the closed cell foam. I have seen to many pistols rust when left is pistol boxes which have the foam. Have you had any issues with moisture retention and humidity levels?
They got the rubber coating. So the penetration is still there but they're wearing rubbers for safe barrel-ing.Am I too paranoid about using the racks that stick a rod into the barrel? To me it just seems wrong. Do I need tougher guns since mine are too sensitive for that rough treatment?
You might just need to buy bigger calibers so the rod is actually smaller than the bore.Am I too paranoid about using the racks that stick a rod into the barrel? To me it just seems wrong. Do I need tougher guns since mine are too sensitive for that rough treatment?

I have these same ones. They were surprisingly sturdy when I got them. At the price point, I was skeptical about it, ordered one, and then ordered two more once I handled that first one. Metal is coated to prevent marring the finish. All in all a decent little product for just a few bucks.I have this one from Amazon. Works great with out spending much.

You do realize there's like a hundred magazines up there, right? Thats a lot of magnets lmao
Although, that magnetic strip isn't a bad idea at all. Figure out a mounting method and put several strips on the back of the door. Could work...
But to stay on topic - I'm using these for now. Probably will go with the over/under metal ones mentioned above when I outgrow this setup.
