Not a religious man, but if there was ever something you can point to and say "that's evil" it's the church of Rome.
Having been raised a filthy papist, I can't argue that point. Of all the kids I was raised with that were Catholic, only one still attends church services of any kind & it ain't Roman.

American know-nothing anti-Catholicism is an old game.Could you define "filthy papist" for me please?

Raised Catholic & ran TF away, first chance I got. To be fair, I'm not a fan of any organized religion.
On the other hand, it's possible to make fun without being malicious or hateful.
Happy day after Reformation day, Protestants! (Also known as All Saint's Day to those still in the Church.)
Then y u hang out in Chapel section?
I always assumed a āfilthy papistā was a catholic who aināt got himself no soap.

??? I don't hang out there, though I do sometimes read threads here. I browse by new posts, not by forum & sometimes things pop up that I want to read. FWIW, for those that don't know me "in real life", I have a very self-deprecating sense of humor & "filthy papist" in a thread about Reformation Day being read by a predominantly Protestant population seemed an appropriate response to Brit's comment about the Catholic church. Not here for a theological debate, you do you & all that. I just happen to concur with his opinion, based on my personal experience (& a well documented history).
