Wanted to take a moment to wish all my CFF friends a very happy Thanksgiving!
A friend mentioned to me today that Thanksgiving is special because unlike most holidays it isnt based on a religious directive. It is a day we set aside to purposefully, and of our own free will give thanks for the blessings in our lives. If you choose to thank God, awesome. If you just choose to express thanks to your friends and family, awesome. Either way, it is a choice we make without being laid out as a holy directive.
Also, I want to express to you all how much I appreciate each and every one of ya. Some are friends who I’ve known for years. I thank you for your fellowship, the laughs, and the support. And some of you are less than friends, but I am thankful to have you as well. You challenge me to check myself. You challenge me to try to think differently or act differently. The success of those changes or reflection is of mixed outcome, but they are there none the less.
And to the mods and fellers who keep the hamsters fed and keep the lights on, thank you for carrying on this forum and it’s tradition of supporting the 2nd and providing us a place where like minded individuals can meet to discuss everything under the sun.
