I used to shoot quite a bit several years ago but for whatever reason I lost interest and had not been for probably 20 years. Recently i bought a 19X then a couple of months later a Gen 3 G19 for carry, and the wife " who has a nice Springfield XD-9 original olive drab w/ a factory rail light" have gone almost every other week the past 2 months. We been really burning up some ammo!
We decided we want to try out every indoor range in WNC , The Upstate of S.C. and E. Tn.
I even bought 2 stripped lowers so we can have a winter project!
So, hello everyone.

Welcome and we're glad to have you join up with us here.

Welcome! If you havenā€™t taken a class from Kevin at Blue Ridge Marksmanship, you should look into it. Also recommend IPDA competition at TAC2 in Greenville TN.

Yea, I have emailed Kevin and I think the wife and I will try to do the Medical trauma class combined with CQC drills on Sept 21st.
I wanted to do the Pistol 1 & 2 class on Sept 1 & 2 but I couldn't get off from work those dates. It looks like he has a great setup out there!

Howdy Neighbor Just joined myself.
Have you tried Rex's indoor range in
Hendersonville yet?

We haven't been to Rex`s range yet but its on the list for sure.
We have been inside the store to fondle the merchandise though.
The wife is pricing/eyeing a Ruger LCR in 9mm and if she dosent want one I think I may have to get one anyway.
so many guns and only 2 hands!

Welcome man, I hope you dig it here. Sounds like you got a great start to your rediscovered hobby!

Kevin has the best combat pistol/long gun training facility Iā€™ve seen in or heard of in WNC. He is a great instructor, and Iā€™ve had a few to compare with. His combat pistol classes are definitely worth the money. Plus, Kevin is fine person.

The TACMED class in Sept will be a great opportunity to learn how to stop traumatic hemmorage. I took the instructorā€™s 2-day tactical emergency casualty care class a few months ago. Now I carry a CAT tourniquet, quick clot and chest seal in my 1st Aid kit wherever I go.
