Help me pick a scope

I recently inherited a remington speedmaster. It is the older model with the thin blade. I dont have many guns other then pistols with open sights because I have always worn glasses and my days needing bifocals are probably closer then I would like to admit at the ripe old age of 36.

Now that being said I wanna shoot and enjoy this gun so i need a scope for it.

I also want to keep that old school look and stick with a smaller scope maybe even one that has a gloss finish.

I agree with the above folks saying a reasonably priced 2-7 like the Leupold is a good way to go for that type of rifle.

Back in their day Speedmasters usually wore a fixed 4X. Watch the vintage scope sights for a nice Weaver 4X … I think the B4 model is a rimfire model Weaver offered that I remember on many of my family’s vintage rimfires.

man it is crazy how expensive old glossy finished scopes are on ebay
