I have a friend who needs a chp class and permit ASAP due to a threat. Where can I point her close to Greensboro? I know dealing with sheriff is a totally different thing. We'll cross that bridge when we get there.
Remember it is perfectly legal to carry a concealed handgun in your own home without a CHP. It is also a great way to get to know your holster and the issues around carrying concealed while sitting, moving around, going to the bathroom, etc.. If she is worried about an attack, there is probably a greater likelihood of that taking place at her home. Get a door reinforcement kit, buy some door wedges on Amazon, get an alarm at the house, and best yet, get a dog and let it out at night. Don't kennel it at night.I have a friend who needs a chp class and permit ASAP due to a threat. Where can I point her close to Greensboro? I know dealing with sheriff is a totally different thing. My wife took one private lesson with Dick, then aced the CHP class two days later. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I went here, Dick is a good guy. I don't know if his website is up to date but I'd give him a call, he may be running one this week or next. Not a bad drive from anywhere in the Triad
If there is a serious threat the sherrif can issue a permit and have the person follow up...
What kind of threats? Domestic, co worker, family there are different ways to handle different situations. I'd be happy to explain them to you.
concealed weapon felony. at least your friend would have taken the trouble to do the first half the legal way...My friend carries everywhere, if he has to use it , what difference would a permit make in todays times.
Like Rittenhouse ,always better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.concealed weapon felony. at least your friend would have taken the trouble to do the first half the legal way...
