I wanted to introduce myself.
I'm a newb around here.
I go to church in Greensboro - have lived here about 15 years.

Has your church returned to normal services?

Mine does services on the lawn at the moment. They will bring you communion in your car if you don't want to be near other people. For a while they did services on some video chat thing....
There's a massive Parish Hall, not sure why they don't use that, but there are probably reasons.
Weird times.

We did the summer outside. It was nice.
Now is back inside but with spacing, timing and masks. No standing during singing(??).
Most regular classes meet on Zoom for the foreseeable future. They broadcast on Vimeo for all service times.
So far it works but my kids need to be back.

Yeah we do live stream also and I have watched it when I've been sick(non Covid) and it isn't the same as being there for sure.

“Normal services”...maybe not. But we’ve been meeting back in person for 6+ months. Having a couple hundred people there (instead of the normal 1500+). Rows are spaced out more and we leave 3 seats between families. Haven’t started small groups (Sunday School for us) back, though. Still live-streaming for all those that choose not to attend in person.

Live stream and in-house by reservation (distancing/capacity thing). We have one main branch and several satellite locations. Satellites had live stream from the main branch anyway so watching from home
isn't that different. I just don't have to greet anyone, take up the offering, or do my monthly stint in the toddler room .

I've been very healthy since March for this very reason - no toddler exposure Three of my kids are back in classes now so I'll be sick soon.
