Hezbollah Sleeper Cells and the Risk to American Churches

Remember in 2001 when it was al qaeda sleeper cells that came from the boarder and the fear mongering we got from that for 2 decades? Al qaeda/hezbollah aren't true issues or threats. Lone wold attacks, sure thing.

I honestly have doubts on that. We've heard that for 2 decades and we've yet to see actual proof.
 
There was a MadTV skit one time where a couple sleeper terrorists had finally been activated, and one goes to the other's house to pick him up, only to discover him Americanized.

He had a nice car, hot wife, big screen TV, lazyboy chair, etc... and didn't really want to be a terrorist anymore. Lol

I think he meant the weapons we recently left in Afghanistan. Not the alleged "WMD's" that didn't exist prior.

I'm going to be staying away from big games, concerts, parades, downtown in any bigger city, schools, etc.
All those places will also disarm you if possible, lol.

I'd feel safer at church. Depending on the church of course.
Heck, around here the folks at churches seem to have gotten the message and would be happy to send you to judgement, from what I can tell.

I understand the concern about fearmongering. They used 9/11 to infringe upon our rights and continue to do so. The same things they first used against foreign actors they now use against ordinary folks that had the audacity to object to a policy at a local school board meeting.

However, a normalcy bias is one of the things we simply cannot afford. Islamic terrorists were not considered, by most folks, to be an important threat before 9/11. Most things don't seem threatening until they act. Supposedly, we have thwarted several attempts over the years. How true that is or isn't is anyone's guess. I don't trust the FBI anymore.

Just because I don't trust the Feds at this point doesn't mean there isn't a threat from terrorists. We're in the unenviable position of having lots of groups that mean us harm and a government that will use that threat to further erode our rights.

Y’all have it all wrong, remember when someone shot up the power transformers? Also how safe is our water supply? The softest targets are the easiest and most plentiful…..and would cripple us the most!!! How many will last a week without power? Food? We would be in the Stone Age when the rest of the world move on and will laugh at us when ask for help.
 
If there is an another attack here, it might be another thing no one ever imagined. i.e. the airliner attacks on 9/11. The FBI said at the time that they failed doing their jobs, they admitted that they should have had agents in a room, suggesting what wildly possible threats might come to fruition.

Honest opinion, if we're in the stone age, every other country has ceased to exist. The USA keeps the world alive and moving. Just look at Ukraine and Israel. Without us, the world just dips into immediate chaos. It's easier to just feed our enemies to keep them quiet then to repeat A-stan for 20 years for every backwater nation.
 
Fear porn....a favorite tool of totalitarians. When we can get snaxkbar game stamps without limit I'll believe them.
