Holster for new G19

Just got a new G19 for Christmas and want to start carrying it. Currently carry a shield in a single clip kydex holster.

Wondering what would be a good holster for concealed carry of the G19?

I carry a G19 OWB in an all leather Chief Jason pancake, and a single mag pouch with metal belt clip OWB helps balance it.
 
I carry my G19 in a hybrid IWB made from kydex and horsehide (sticky wire holsters in SC). The entire holster is about 7-8" wide with two clips so it distributes the weight across your belt very well and allows for easy one handed reholstering. There's no retention besides tension but I've run while wearing it (not long distances) and other activities with no fear of it coming out

I believe another member here makes a similar holster

I carry my 19 in a 19 AIWB in a TR Holster. You could also check out Tulster which make a very comfortable kydex IWB holster and they ship VERY quickly.

Also i just got an email notification that Bravo Concealment has 25% of they combinations right now and always free shipping. Hard to beat that.

Allow me to insert one adjective here........AWESOME leather or hybrids for the G19 and quite a few other select firearms I've been told.
 
Raven Concealment Phantom....it is a super thin kydex holster and can be worn IWB or OWB. I like the pancake wings for OWB and clips (as opposed to soft loops) for IWB. Raven Concealment gives you plenty of options. Hard to beat.
 
I've got something like 6 years on my Crossbreed Supertuck Deluxe. I've tried most of the other companies making similar holsters and I still feel like the CBST is worth it.
 
Leather OWB: Chief Jason
Leather IWB:Chief Jason
Hybrid IWB: CompTac minotaur
Kydex IWB: LAG tactical (also can be OWB)
Leather single clip IWB: MTR adversary

Agreed. I won't go as far as to say that Ravens quality can't be beat but I've yet to see it done. It's my benchmark by which I compare all other kydex products. I can make a full size pistol (Beretta 92, 5" 1911 etc) disappear under a tshirt and the retention is incredibly well done.
 
Kydex: Rocketman Lowrider, the only IWB thats ever felt comfortable with a G19 for me. Also, if you don't like it, PM me and I'll buy it.
Another prop: I wore mine out after a lot of years, it developed a crack, and I contacted the company to buy a replacement. He told me to send him my old one, which I did.
He then surprised me by sending me a free new one, and thanked me for wearing out the old one !! I CAN'T SPEAK HIGHLY ENOUGH for the company and their commitment to a quality product !

I carry my G19 AIWB in a Knightfall Customs kydex holster. Reasonably priced and ships very quick.

Just got my first Chief Jason pancake for Christmas. Love that thing already!
 
If OwB I carry it in a Blackhawk Serpa, until I buy a chief Jason

iwb i have a vedder holster that works well.
 
I personally like the black dog concealment hybrid leather/kydex. I also carry stealth gear USA - belt clips are crappy on/off but it is the most comfortable and breathable I have found.

like most of us - you will have a drawer full of holsters and find what works for you :)
 
Another vote for Stealth Gear, super comfortable (I can't speak for appendix carry version of anything though).
