Holster Recommendations

Need some recommendations for a quality IWB holster for Glock 17 Gen5 - it's like information overload on the web. Would love some first hand accounts on what works. For reference I'm 5'10" 250lbs.
 
Appendix, 3-4 o'clock, or duty?

So I've been carrying appendix for 8-9 years? My absolute favorite holsters have been from Tier 1 concealed with MiHolsterCo being a strong second.

I carry a P10c with a full size light, comp, and dot daily. Currently using the T1C MSP Collab holster.
 
I don't think appendix would work for me with a G17. Especially if I had more gut than I do at the moment.

I'd try a hybrid at 3-4 o'clock.
 
My current 2 favorite IWB holsters are the Tulster Oath and Phlster Pro.

A bit spendy, but I can even conceal my G21 in this bad boy šŸ˜.
 
Iā€™ll give a second on the Phlster pro. And Iā€™m 6ā€™4ā€ 280. Spend the money on a good belt as well.

Look at Hidden Hybrid Holsters. I bought one for my 509M and loved it so much I got one for the my Sig 365. I like the duel clip hybrid style anyways, but they use a little thicker leather and put the felt type backer on it so it helps hold the holster in place. This makes carrying larger firearms more comfortable because it helps stop your pants from slipping down with a good belt. They do cost a little more but you can uses it IWB and OWB. I have had several hybrid makers and this is by far my favorite and most comfortable.

I personally love the alien gear holsters,itā€™s what I use for my five-seven, never had a single issue in the year or so that I had it.
