Korean Bulgogi and most of the trimmings. I had to use flank steak because that was the best cut I could get for the task. I could not get a ribeye cut thick enough to then slice thin.

If you have ever been to a legit Korean BBQ joint you know they cook it in front of you on grill in the middle of the table. You get anywhere from 5 to 10 sides like Kimchi to go with the meal. You wrap it all up in lettuce and eat it like a taco. I only managed 5 sides but they were pretty pretty pretty good. Everything including the 2 Kimchis were from scratch. I cooked the meat on the weber and then served it up home style with rice.

I saw several bowls of stuff my wife wouldn't touch.

And by several, I mean all of them. Dang.

You didn't have any of the dried, salted guppies? I forgot what they are called, but that is what they reminded me of.

Hey, post the recipe or it didnā€™t happen. :D

Iā€™ve got a recipe for it that Iā€™ve been pretty happy with. Donā€™t have the book at this house buts itā€™s basically marinated in soy sauce, garlic, ginger, green onions, red and black pepper, sesame oil and with a touch of sweetener. Best grilled on foil over charcoal.

This makes me miss the yumminess the Korean ladies at work used to bring me.....(sigh)
