Hornady seating depth tool tap

(I forgot the name, but it's the tool that you screw into specialized cartridges to get rounds to touch the lands).

Anyway, I bought the tap and drill bit for it- it's an oddball size. I only have a couple of cartridges to do, so if someone local (N. Raleigh) wants to borrow it to do their own case, let me know

Ok, having tried my first cartridge modification (after 5 fails), I suggest you only bother if you have access to a lathe. Larger cartridges (308-based) would likely be easier, but 300BO was not easy, and ... I'll probably just buy the one from Hornady. Offer is still open if someone wants to try themselves.

It will double as a stuck case extraction tool.
Buy a bolt that fits the threads, couple fender washers...viola.

Yep, I think that's it. I've also got the comparator, but that clips to my calipers.
