How bout that Tiger

yeah, clearly his days of playing and being competitive are over. Not for 4 straight days anyway. shot a 77 today.

I'm sure he's still smashing his way through Waffle House waitresses.
Was that his choice of prey, I never really gave it much attention.

With his $ and curb appeal I would’ve bet he’d gone for the medical safety of a more high class lady.

As a Tiger fan who got into golf as kid because of him, it’s a shame to see his decline and this kind of performance.

I watched a bit of the first 3 rounds, glad to see Tiger in it, but he couldn’t consistently put together shots if it was anything but a driver in his hands.

Max Homa on the other hand was very entertaining! I see Scheffler has run away with it today though.

He had several different ladies a madam, some old GF iirc and Waffle House waitresses. What I remember is he would take an ambien CR before going out to drink and the fool wouldn't remember much. I can attest ambien CR will absolutely make you F- like an unstoppable Bull.

He's getting older, not played as much due to injuries. To be expected.

As someone said, he's the MJ or Lebron of the sport, one of the greatest of all time...I dont even like or watch golf and know him.

He had a good run. If you look at a lot of non contact athletes (football, MMA. boxing I would consider contact sports), a majority of them were in their prime for about 10 years. From the late 90's until 2009 or so he was overall the best golfer in the world. It happens to everyone. He probably still plays because he is still trying to live in his glory days, he loves the game, likes the attention, who knows??

However he was a trashy husband/person and probably a trashy father, so when you're not so classy you get a lot of not so classy headlines whenever the opportunity arises.

Whenever I see Tiger Woods, I think of 2 things. 1) when he was hot he wouldn't give an interview without getting paid , and 2) this line from Field of Dreams regarding Ty Cobb..."But none of us could stand the sunnuvabitch when we were alive — so we told him to stick it!!”

Well, I'm not necessarily a Tiger fan but I'd guess we're all gonna get old one day and have physical ailments.

Pretty good chance there's been someone who's shot a worst score at Augusta than a plus 16 for four rounds. Pick your own golf hero and check the records.

Oh, he did set a record this week with making the cut 24 times in a row, so there's that.

.

Tiger's on-course performance did more to rejuvenate golf and get people playing than anyone else. His off-course antics certainly tarnished the image of the man and multiple injuries and surgeries have taken their toll. Many of the greats keep playing the tourneys long after they are competitive - and occasionally a miracle does happen.

I admire the work ethic and, he was exciting to see play. He brought energy and emotion and was good with the crowd when not in competition. I attended a practice day before a major and Tiger satisfied every single kid's autograph request long after everyone else had left or ignored them. Every single one. I don't condone his off-course behavior, but I also recognize I have not walked even one mile in his mocassins.

Tiger lost the handle when he went from being an artist on the course to an engineer. He should have left the coaches, simulations, special exercises and the waitresses behind.

Greatest of all time was Jack Nickalus with the most majors. He doesn’t own the record for most victories either. I have attended many golf tournaments and never saw Tiger give a single autograph. And Phil Mickolson didn’t either. Bunch of country club snobs.

As for Tiger credit his father and mother for all his success with their guidence. A young skinny Tiger was a bomber but swinging out of your shoes is for those under 35. It is not something you can do as you age with back issues. His days were over 6 years ago. Jack won a Masters at 46 which is crazy since all the tees were lengthened due to advancements in ball and club technology.

Tiger shot 82, 10 over Saturday and he finished dead last of the 60 who made the cut. He’s been non competitive for many years. The dude has zero respect for women. He’s a playa. That ruse he pulled taking his girlfriend to airport to meet him and then leaving her there was the final straw for me. Low class. But how about those hair plugs he got? Aren’t those nice?

The above is harsh, but not wrong!
And his most recent injury to his leg is self inflicted(not paying attention while driving), so difficult to feel sorry for him there
