If you've seen some of my other posts you'll see I'm adding to my EDC. In the past all I would carry is a wallet, phone, keys and watch. Wallet back left pocket, keys front right pocket, phone front left pocket and watch on left wrist. I tried my phone (Galaxy note 9) in an otterbox and belt clip but didn't like it at all. I'm looking to upgrade phones this week or next and planning to get a much smaller phone. I will obviously need a case but not sure how to carry or try to carry it. Recently I've been carrying a Colt CT325 (waiting on my Kershaw Blur S30V) clipped in back right pocket, pistol in front right pocket (waiting on some IWB holsters) flashlight clipped in/on front left pocket along with keys, phone and small case knife. Once I begin carrying my pistol IWB my front right pocket will be free for the keys and case knife leaving the phone and light for the left pocket. Anyhow, hope this wasn't too much detail or confusion. I'm just looking to see how other carry their EDC gear and/or phone in particular. Thanks.

Front right pocket. Or right cargo. Hoody season sometimes finds it in there. When I wore carpenter pants I kept it in a thigh pocket. Work phone is in a belt clipped pouch during work hours.

Flashlight and keys FL, wallet LR or Left cargo, knife RF. Appendix carry most times.

I have a belt pouch on my left hip that carries my phone, multi-tool, small Surfire light, spare mag, Sharpie and some business cards. It's a bit bulky, but practical.

Would love to get @Gunbelt to custom make me something from leather that was not as ugly or bulky....

Show us.

Tried to get @Gunbelt to do me a pistol pouch but he wasn't interested.

For jeans Wallet left rear, keys on a carabiner clipped to right side. Knife clipped front right. Light front left. Phone goes front left since I broke my clip to my otterbox.
Though I prefer 5.11 pants with the extra front pockets on the front of the thighs, then knife goes on the right light to the left in those smaller pockets, wallet and keys stay the same and the phone gets the left front regular pocket to itself

No help here...............don't own one....................
I keep telling my wife that mine is going bye bye when I retire (15mos)....she thinks I'm kidding.

Mine now is typically lying somewhere far enough away for me to not hear it, mostly on purpose. With colder weather it's usually in the chest pocket of my jacket...sound turned off.

Duluth pants are amazing, gusseted crotch and most of them have an additional right thigh pocket perfect for a cell phone. I don't recommend putting anything else in the pocket with your phone it'll scratch the screen to hell.

Duluth also has some jeans that have a double back pocket good if you run a pocket knife but also want to put your phone back there.

Did I say I love Duluth?

One of the many handy pockets of my shoot me first pants. I've decided a lifetime of handy extra pockets is worth a small risk of being shot first.

Typically my left front pants pocket. I'm right handed so I can answer and hold the phone in my left hand keeping my right free. No one drops their phone as much as me, and I've found a thin gel case works pretty damn well, no need for a bulky armor style case.

I too wear shoot-me-first pants, love the extra pockets. Wallet goes in the right cargo pocket, easy for me to reach even while driving and no one else. Nothing in back right but a sticky single stack mag holster in back left. Knife clipped to right front pocket. I don't carry a tactical light on my person but I keep one in the car. I keep a mini Olight on my keychain for when the lights go out.

Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro holster type with belt clip, normally on my right side, can't carry at both jobs. I move it to the left side if I carry, no blade but have Olight on key chain.

My pocket contents have shifted over the decades.

I grew up with keys/pocket knife in front right (strong hand) pocket, change in left front pocket, wallet in back left, comb/ handkerchief in back right.

When I got a smart phone, it went on my front left and my change shifted to my front right.

This last year, I've been having problems with my wallet in my back left pocket causing pain in my left hip/leg, so it got shifted to my front right.

Never heard them called shoot-me-first-pants till this thread. I kinda like it

The method you don’t like…Otterbox and belt holster. 😁

Phone usually ends up in one of my back pockets. I take it out if I'm going to sit, but walking around, it's in a back pocket. Keys in the other back pocket. Wallet front right, ain't gonna pick that pocket without me knowing. Knife and spare mag in front left.

I use a knock off Scorpion soft shell case I came across, with a blade tech belt mount to carry my phone ( and same side in mag carrier, spare mag(s) same side), wallet in front left, knife and keys in front right, and nothing in my back pockets because I dont trust it.

Carpenter pants ruler pocket is the preferred method for my phone. Cargo pants or shorts in the big pocket. 5.11 pants are nice because of the extra pockets up top.
Don't carry anything in my back pockets, haven't in years.

in my hands so i can stare down at it while i'm out doing stuff in public
either that or i just stuff it in a back pocket and go. unless it's winter, then i put it in a coat pocket and go.

Phone is in a lifeproof case, very slim. Wallet , flashlight, spare mag in from left pocket. Knife in back right pocket, phone in this pocket also when not sitting. Mints in back left pocket when walking around. Everywhere but work , edc gun in front right pocket

I just wish they'd offer magnet closure because it's always the Velcro that fails. I've got a few perfectly good old ones that just won't stay shut.
That is my only complaint about them also. If you contact them and complain about the velcro wearing out, they will send you a new one. I did that a couple of months ago, and they sent a new one. I get about 3 years out of one.

Will do that when my current one fuzzed out, thanks!
