How do you mount your can?

Curious to know how the majority mounts their cans. While waiting for my Optimus to get out of jail, I've noticed a lot of their mounts and flash hiders are on backorder. Any one settling on something like direct thread because parts are backordered?
 
I have AAC and seems like there are plenty of adapters available if I were to want to mount the can on another rifle.
Sorry youre having bad luck on this one but hopefully it'll fix itself soon
 
For me, almost all of my centerfire rifle use YHM mounts. This includes YHM cans, SiCo cans, and F1 cans. The one exception is an Omega that I use on my PS90 SBR with a direct thread adapter...because I don't want a FH on it when shooting unsuppressed.

All my pistol and rimfire cans are direct thread. No 3-lug for me.
 
I bought a direct thread thread Innovative Arms 5.56 Suppressor as my first rifle can. I ran it for three years before I got a Griffin Recce 5. With the thread Mount can, I just use a little Teflon tape and I have zero issues with it backing off even during mag dumps. I got it back when the AAC M4-1000 and the M4-2000 early mods were the only real QD option and I didn't want to go that route. My throat on suppressor is still ticking and is built like a tank
 
I used both direct thread and QD mount. Some of my older cans only has QD mount. Saker is a direct thread. Newly purchase cans now come with muzzle device included.
 
I got the 3 lug with 200.00 rebate...and never use it.my phantom uses qd... but I never move it....everything else is direct thread...
 
Newb here, I only have two suppressors: A SpecWar 7.62 and a Checkmate QD. Neither are direct thread.
 
I have a Recce 5 on a 7.5" Sig Sauer that mounts with a taper mount. I pistol mount my Optimus direct thread and have a taper mount for it on a 300BLK upper.

Well, that's kind of a personal question, but I'll give it a go.

I typically stand facing away from the can while dropping my pants. Then I sorta scootch back a little and sit down.

I know! I couldn't believe I was the first!

But don't worry...when the others get their recent issues worked out of their systems they'll pick up the pace again
 
The two I own are both direct thread a Spectre II and a SiCo Harvester 30 thats in jail still. My next can Will most likely be an omega and it will be both QD and direct thread.

Your Optimus should come with one .30 cal taper mount. If you need others, jkupp can usually find just about anything. Don't know if he made the jump over here or not, but message me and I can give you his contact info.
 
I'm waiting on the Optimus also.

I bought the 3lug adapter and some of their mounts already.

But I need 3 lug mounts for the guns next.

from what I read they had a machine go down and put them back on making stuff.

I'm sure... There's a lot of hugs and warm fuzzy going on at the moment. We'll return to the normally scheduled program shortly...
 
Direct thread on 2 rimfire pistols, 1 rimfire rifle, and a Scorpion Evo. Standardizing on YHM QD brakes for all other rifles.

I believe he made the jump already to this site. He is the one that told me about the change and yes, he can get you anything needed for the Optimus.
