Getting back to the subject of this thread, I'm just a recreational shooter/firearms enthusiast. I don't compete or pretend that I'm the end all be all of a precision shooter with any type of firearm. I buy cases of ammo when it is available. I do stockpile it. I do shoot a crap ton of it when I do go to the range. I have thousands of rounds of expensive hard to get in normal times ammunition. I can afford it. When times like these present themselves, I don't have to worry about ammunition availability for myself or those close to me.

Do I adjust my range trips/ammo usage when shortages like we're now seeing materialize? You can bet I do. When the availability comes back, I start buying it again, by bulk regardless of the cost. If it's available, I buy it. This fits my needs, it may not fit your needs or your budget.

Basically, do what satisfies your needs, your shooting frequency, make adjustments as necessary, and do it all within your own budget.

You would crap your pants if I took you out to shoot a couple of my rifles and I made you pay for each round you fired off.

Just do your thing and don't worry about how or why others on here or elsewhere do their thing.😎

If I get concerned about the cost of factory ammo, I dollar cost-average and buy a few boxes when I can, then when I get lazy, I break out the .22 that I stocked by the ten-thousand while you were drinking and eating out. Mainly, I planned for this certainty because the average sniveling snitch in murica is all about sucking on the .gov titty, so you gotta be prepared for the Communists and their stoopid tricks. Sure. In my dreams. Until I hit 55, my vision was 20/500. Red dot sights saved me much grief. I shoot master class service rifle and bullseye. Just started steel challenge, but I’ll never have the hand/eye coordination for top speed. Accuracy no problem, consistency is the problem. I also shoot too many weapons for consistency, but that is the fun for me. I love to buy new and trade, and old guns are my favorites. Whatever you do, don’t have a severe traumatic brain injury, with resulting brain clots and surgery, and expect to return to top form. I enjoy shooting, and hope to start Trap and/or Skeet. Gotta spend my money sometime🙊

Those aren’t the dangerous folks, not any more. They be outa ammo and won’t be getting any in the near future. The idiot in the crapped out truck with may-pops and brake rotors on their third illegal trimming is the danger. I saw him t-bone grammaw yesterday🙈

If you accepted the $20 that The Walrus offered you and he’s mailed it, and you’re still posting, that should be assessed as negative feedback for welching on the deal, which usually involves some sort of bannation to heck.

But I’m not a mod so maybe they’ll be more charitable.

It was offered by more than one member because you felt slighted for having a paid a membership and still getting smacked around like a pinata, which is what happens on the internet when you post drivel. Anonymity is not always the kindest of task masters.

@TheWallrus is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. I’d call what he offered “generosity".

Most of us like this place, but it ain’t for everyone. I get that. Heck, even I took a break a few years ago. We either put on our big boy pants and roll with it, or we shove off.

You used inappropriate language in an open forum, you were sent a warning.
You insisted that you had received special negative treatment and nobody else did. You are entirely wrong on that point, but go on with your bad self.
You have been complaining about this site ad nauseum because you got sand in your battered chapped cooter and want to throw a tantrum like a little girl with a skinned knee.
This site is awesome. Your experiences here may have been subpar, probably because you run your mouth and are a noob.
Then, after receiving more than one warning, and being given sage advice by not only veteran members, but the mods who literally run this site, you throw another tantrum and decide that suddenly you are King Social Justice and will defend the besmirched honor of all the ladies out there.
Stop being a crybaby while at the same time flexing like you are some kind of hero.
